Popular television couple Mirchi Senthil and Sreeja recently announced that they are going to become a mom and dad eight years after marriage. Sharing a photo of the baby shower function the actor wrote on Insta "We are glad to inform you that we going to be Parents soon. Keep us in ur prayers".

On January 4th, Sreeja who was admitted to a hospital in Kerala gave birth to a baby boy and both the mother and son are hale and healthy. Senthil wrote emotionally on Insta "We are born as Parents to our SON yesterday Thank u for all ur love and prayers". Social media followers of the couple are congratulating them across platforms.

Senthil and Sreeja met on the sets of the 90's kids' favorite serial 'Saravanan Meenacthi' which had them as a pair. They fell in love and got married in 2014 with the consent of both parents. Sreeja, who did not act in any serial for a few years after her marriage, once again teamed up with her hubby Senthil in the serial 'Mappillai'.
