On Monday, director Krish claimed in an interview that Kangana Ranaut turned gold ‘Manikarnika’ into silver ‘Manikarnika’ by re-shooting 30% of the movie. “I was shocked when she took the first credit for directing the biopic. How is she able to sleep well? The film is my baby,” Krish said.
Rangoli, Kangana’s sister, has replied to the ‘NTR’ director after his comments. “Krish, we believe that you directed the whole film. Now please calm down, still Kangana is the leading face of the film and let her enjoy this moment of her success and great appreciation. Please leave her alone, we all believe you now please take a seat,” the sister tweeted out, getting sarcastic.
It’s understandable that Rangoli is biased in favour of her sister. The fact is, Krish doesn’t want to snatch away the actress’ due. It’s Kangana who seems to have unfairly taken the first credit for directing ‘Manikarnika’. Krish shot the movie for 109 days, completing almost everything before taking up ‘NTR’ biopic.
