Shruti Haasan is not only a multitalented entertainer of her own right in spite of being the Kamal Haasan's daughter but she is also pretty outspoken about her personal life too. Recently the 'Vedalam' heroine shared that she has been fighting disorders related to her periods called PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) that are very painful. She also has revealed in the past that she has fought mental illness and depression.

Now during the lockdown Shruti is living on her own with her cat and in an interview to HT the pretty performer has stated "Being at home during a global pandemic and stuck in lockdown is an unnatural situation. It affects people in a variety of ways and one of them is their mental health. I definitely think mental health crisis is a very real problem. But people are usually cautious or are ashamed to talk about it, I am in therapy for three years now. I seriously recommend therapy for people, who need it. I have tools and meditation that help me,"

Shruti Haasan has added, "The toughest thing in a lockdown is not having physical contact with people as I am completely alone in my flat. But I have been quite busy during the lockdown. I have been shooting for magazine covers, making music long distance, writing a lot of music and writing in general. This time has been very productive for me." That sure is a great piece of advice that the only way to fight depression now is to make use of time as productively as possible.

Shruti's next release in Tamil is 'Laabam' directed by S.P. Jananathan with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead in which she has a meaty role.
