South India's leading actress Samantha gave a huge shock to her fans and wellwishers by posting a photo of her under treatment for the serious myositis ailment. She wrote on Instagram " few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front."

The 35 year old beauty added " Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS" (sic)."

Fans of Sam from all over the globe have been posting get well soon messages and several celebrities too have done the same. Actor Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni has reached out to his ex-sister in law writing "'All the love and strength to you dear Sam'.

Meanwhile fans are demanding Samantha's ex-husband Naga Chaitanya to post a message to the pretty actress. Several superstars including Chiranjeevi, Dulquer Salmaan, Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal have shared their concerns and given their cheers to Sam.
