Actress Priya Anand who made her acting debut in 'Vamanan' starring Jai in the lead has since starred opposite several top South Indian heroes including Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa, Vikram Prabhu, Gautham Karthik, Prithviraj, Puneeth Rajkumar and Ashok Selvan.

Priya Anand who is not very active on social media is pretty choosy on what she posts. Fans have noticed that atleast twice a month she shares quotes of controversial godman Swami Nithyananda. In a recent interview she was asked about it and her earnest reply was that she is fond of him.

Priya explained that there is a reason why thousands of people follow him which is that he attracts them through his charisma. On a personal note the pretty actress said in jest that she would even marry him and she need not even change her name after that as it is already more or less similar.

Priya is known for her quick wit and is said to be a bit of a prankster on sets and her humorous take on the controversial Nithyananda is fun to a section of her followers while others have a different opinion. The man in question meanwhile is absconding for several months and claims to have created his own country Kailasa. Reports also suggest that he is ailing while police of various states are on the lookout for him in connection with several pending cases including sexual offenses.

Priya Anand's next films are 'Sumo' and 'Kasethan Kadavulada' both starring Mirchi Shiva and 'Andhagan' in which she is playing the female lead opposite veteran hero Prashanth.
