Actress Praveena became famous playing the character of the hero's mother in the serial 'Raja Rani 2'. She has played character roles in the Tamil films 'Saamy Square', 'Teddy', 'Comali and 'Veetla Visesham'. apart from other serials. She is also an accomplished actress in the Malayalam film and television industy and has won state government awards as well.

Praveena had lodged a sensational complaint with the cybercrime police last year in whch she accused unknown persons of spreading obscene morphed photos of herself on the internet. She demanded strict action and subsequently, the police launched a search and arrested one Bhagyaraj in Delhi who hailed from Tamil Nadu. Bhagyaraj, who spent a few months in jail after his arrest, is out on bail.

Meanwhile, actress Praveena, again filed a complaint with the cyber crime police a few weeks ago,stating that her daughter's photos have been morphed obscenely by someone who has created fake Facebook accounts and posting them there. She also added that she suspected that Bhagyaraj, who had just come out of jail, was involved in such activities with the intention of taking revenge on her.

The police once again arrested Bhagyaraj again and it has been revealed that he was a college student and was only 22 years old. The cops are now interrogating him to find out if he is committing the perverted crime against the actress and her daughter for revenge or he is doing it to other women too.
