Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam' directed by Mithran Jawahar released last week and has reportedly turned out to be one of the leading star's highest grossing film in his career. The film produced by Sun Pictures has Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna as the female leads while Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj played powerful supporting characters.
Dhanush and Nithya Menen's impeccable chemistry and acting performances in 'Thiruchitrambalam have won them more fans than the enviable numbers they already have. Youthful audiences especially loved their vibrant dance steps in the "Thaai Kelavi" song so much so that they started addressing Nithya by that title.
Nithya Menen in her social media interactions has asked fans not to call her "Thaai Kelavi' and she does not like that one bit. She has also stated that the characters that she played in the Tamil movies 'Kanchana' as Kanchana and Shobhana in 'Thiruchitrambalam' are totally different from what she is in real life.
The pretty and talented performer will next be seen in the Malayalam films 'Aaram Thirukalpana' and an untitled project with Anjali Menon.
