A 29 year old daughter belonging to one of Indian cinema's most prolific family has announced her divorce after three years of marriage. The news has come after media speculations for over a year about her troubled marriage.

Actress Niharika Konidela is the niece of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and cousin of superstars Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun. In 2020 she had an arranged marriage with Chaitanya Jonnalagadda at Udaipur palace which was attended by her entire family and other top stars from all over the country.

Niharika after keeping silent for more than a year about her marital discord has finally announced the new on Insta. She wrote "Chaitanya and I have decided to mutually part ways and ask for kindness and sensitivity as we move on. Thank you to my family and friends who have been pillars of support. I request some privacy for us to navigate this new normal in private. Thank you for understanding."

Niharika who is also into film production has acted in the Tamil movie 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren' directed by Arumugakumar and costarring S. Gayathrie, Gautham Karthik and Vijay Sethupathi. She recently made a comeback in the Disney Plus Hotstar web series 'Dead Pixels'.
