Actress Namitha is a popular actress in Tamil cinema in the 2010s. She debuted opposite Captain Vijayakanth in 'Engal Anna' and went on to star alongside the top actors Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar in 'Azhagiya Thamizh Magan' and 'Billa', respectively.

In recent times, Namitha garnered attention after participating as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss Tamil' hosted by Kamal Haasan. The actress has been married to Veerendra Chowdhary, a businessman. She announced her pregnancy on her 41st birthday in May month with baby bump photos.

Now, the latest is that the yesteryear actress has been blessed with twin babies. She announced this on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami through a social media post. The photos and videos regarding this news are currently going viral on the internet.

Sharing a video, Namitha posted, "Hare Krishna! On this Auspicious Occasion we're more than Delighted to share our Happy news with all of you. We have been Blessed with Twin Boys. We hope your Blessings n Love will always be with them. We are really thankful to Rela Hospital - Multispeciality Hospital, Chrompet for their Excellent Health care n Services. I'm really indebted to Dr. Bhuvaneshwari n her team for guiding me thru out my Pregnancy journey n also for bringing my children in this world.
