Adarsha Kutumbam Release Postponed: Naga Vamsi Reveals What Went Wrong

The much-awaited combination of Victory Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas has hit a temporary roadblock. Their upcoming family entertainer Adarsha Kutumbam, which was originally scheduled to release in theatres on October 9, has been postponed at the last minute.

The sudden decision surprised movie lovers, especially Venkatesh fans who had been eagerly waiting for the film. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has now opened up about the reasons behind the postponement and assured fans that the extra time will be used to deliver a better version of the movie.

Why Was Adarsha Kutumbam Postponed?

Speaking to the media, Naga Vamsi revealed that the team was still confident about releasing the film on October 9 until a few days ago. In fact, overseas bookings had already been opened.

However, the post-production work fell behind schedule by around four to five days. The situation became even more complicated when the makers were unable to send the overseas censor copy by Sunday.

The producer said that going ahead with the October 9 release under such circumstances would have meant taking a major risk with the film’s quality. The team could have ended up watching the final output in theatres for the first time along with the audience.

Rather than rush the process, the makers decided to postpone the release and complete the remaining work properly.

Naga Vamsi Apologizes to Venkatesh Fans

Naga Vamsi also acknowledged that the last-minute postponement created difficulties for other films, particularly small and mid-range movies that were lined up for release around the same date.

He admitted that the decision was not ideal from a professional standpoint and sincerely apologized to the filmmakers and audiences affected by it.

At the same time, he expressed regret over disappointing Venkatesh’s fans, who had been looking forward to seeing the actor back on the big screen.

“We Want Fans to Feel Proud”

The producer made it clear that the postponement was ultimately taken to protect the quality of the film.

According to Naga Vamsi, had the movie arrived on October 9, the team would have been able to present only around 80% of the intended output. The additional two to three weeks will now allow the makers to complete the remaining songs, trailer work and re-recording without rushing.

He assured fans that the team is aiming to deliver a film that Venkatesh’s fans can proudly celebrate whenever it finally hits the screens.

New Release Date Not Locked Yet

There have been several reports on social media suggesting October 30 or November 6 as possible release dates. However, Naga Vamsi clarified that neither date has been finalized.

Venkatesh is currently in London. Once he returns to Hyderabad, the release plans will be discussed with D. Suresh Babu and the rest of the team.

The makers are expected to announce the new release date only after the complete version of Adarsha Kutumbam is ready.

For now, the wait continues for Venkatesh and Trivikram’s much-awaited family entertainer, with the makers promising that the delay will ultimately result in a better theatrical experience.
