Actress Laila who made her debut in Tamil with the Vijayakanth-starrer 'Kallazhakar' went on to star alongside top heroes of the early 2000s that include the Ajith in 'Dheena', Vikram in 'Dhil', Prashanth in 'Parthen Rasithen' and with Suriya in four movies namely 'Unnai Ninaithu', 'Nandha', 'Mounam Pesiyathe' and 'Pithamagan'.

Unfortunately she missed out starring with Thalapathy Vijay who walked out of 'Unnai Ninaithu' due to creative differences with director Vikraman and was replaced with Suriya. On the occassion of Vijay's 49th birthday on June 22nd Laila posted a still from the film of them both and wrote "I will title this photo as "The One That Got Away" You all know that this is one hero who got away from me. But we have photos to prove that we have acted together still."

A few days earlier the 42 year old Laila shared a stunning video in which she was involved in upside workouts that surprised netizens. The actress who is happily married to Iranian businessman Mehdi and has two children was recently seen in Karthi's 'Sardar'. She is currently acting in the new movies titled 'Alice' and 'Sabdam'.
