Actress Jyothika who is going great guns with her second innings as a lead actress in Kollywood has completed her next film costarring Sasikumar and Samuthirakani. She also has a lineup of more than three films in pre-production one of which has her husband Suriya as the hero.

The buzz now is that Jyothika has given her nod for an important character in the upcoming pan Indian movie 'Salaar' directed by Prashant Neel of 'KGF' and 'KGF2' fame. It is said that Jyothika will be playing the role of Prabhas's elder sister in the film and will begin shooting for her portions once the pandemic situation allows. The official announcement is awaited regarding Jyo's involvement.

'Salaar' has Shruti Haasan as the pair of Prabhas and Madhu Guruswamy in an important role. The film produced on a grand scale by Hombole Films will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam on April 14th, 2022.
