Actress Amritha Aiyer debuted as heroine in Tamil in the critically acclaimed 'Padaiveeran' starring Bharathiraja and Vijay Yesudas. She however found widespread fame after playing the fiery footballer Vembu in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' directed by Atlee. She has delivered an impressive performance in the horror thriller 'Lift' costarring 'Bigg Boss' Kavin.

Amritha has shared photos of her in traditional wedding attire and knowing pretty well that it would give rise to speculations has set the record straight in advance. She wrote tongue in cheek on Instagram "No no it’s not my marriage pictures!!".

The pics are from the straight to OTT GVP starrer 'Vanakkam Da Mapla' directed by M. Rajesh that was released on Sun Next in 2021. The pretty lady has completed shooting for Sundar C's romantic comedy 'Coffee With Kadhal' that has Jiiva, Jai, Srikanth, Aishwarya Dutta, Raiza Wilson and Yogi Babu in the lead roles.
