Aditi Shankar the youngest daughter of legendary director Shankar made a dream come true acting debut in 'Viruman' directed by Muthaiya. The film starring Karthi and produced by Suriya released on August 12th to tremendous response at the box office. Aditi who played the female lead received accolades from both fans and critics alike.

Her dad Shankar meanwhile turned 59 on August 17th and her adoring daughter wished him in his capacity as both a director and a father. In that cute message Aditi has also revealed that her pet name at home is Chinnu which should be one more trivia of her that fans would be eager to know. The young actress meanwhile will soon begin shooting for her sophomore project 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin in which Sivakarthikeyan plays the male lead and Mysskin the antagonist.
