Apollo Hospital has released a report confirming that actor Vishal has contracted viral fever and has been advised to rest completely. This announcement comes after a video showing Vishal's hands shaking severely during the pre-release event of the film Madagajaraja went viral on social media yesterday. Concerns about his health led the hospital to issue an official update today.

Madagajaraja, directed by Sundar C, stars Vishal and features an ensemble cast including Santhanam, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sathish, Nitin Sathya, Sonu Sood, Anjali, and the late actors Manivannan, Manobala, Mayilsamy, and Chitti Babu. The film's music is composed by Vijay Antony.

Initially shot and completed in 2012 under Gemini Film Circuit's production, the film faced multiple delays and was originally slated for a Pongal release. Despite the postponement, Vishal's song in the film had garnered significant attention online at the time. After a 13-year delay, the team has now decided to release the film during the upcoming Pongal festival, reigniting excitement among fans, especially with Sundar C’s direction and Vishal’s performance.
