Action King Arjun’s mother Lakshmi Devamma breathed her last breath today at the age of 85. She was a school teacher in Mysore and the wife of the late Kannada actor Shakti Prasad.

According to reports she was admitted to the Apollo hospital Bangalore and passed away today. Many cine celebrities are sending their condolences to the Sarja family following her demise.

Lakshmi Devamma has two sons and a daughter. The eldest son Kishore Sarja is a Kannada director. The second son Arjun has earned a name as Action King Arjun with his action movies in the southern film industry.

Arjun who comes from a reputed family is currently known as the action king in the South Indian film industry with his action movies. He became a top hero in Tamil with his back-to-back hit films. Apart from Tamil, he is also well known to Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam audiences. Not only as an actor but also as a producer and director, Arjun has earned a special name in the south.
