The much awaited "Vidaa Muyarchi" starring Ajith Kumar will commence filming in Azerbaijan this month, according to Action King Arjun. "It promises to be a different film; only 20-30% of the shooting is left," he said. Release of the film is scheduled for Diwali 2024.
Current rumors state that Magizh Thirumeni's "Vidaa Muyarchi," which has been delayed, will soon start filming. Ajith Kumar, who is already working in Hyderabad on another film under Adhik Ravichandran's direction, is supposed to join the "Vidaa Muyarchi '' team in a few days to finish the last bits. The directors want to finish off the unfinished business quickly so that Ajith can go back to India and start filming "Good Bad Ugly."
Speculation were that "Vidaa Muyarchi" director Magizh Thirumeni and Lyca Productions planned to premiere the film during Deepavali. If all goes according to plan, the movie should open in theaters around the last week of October 2024. The box office would then compete with Vetrimaaran's "Viduthalai Part 2" and Suriya's "Kanguva." The release date will not be decided upon until after filming is finished, though.
As the schedule is back on track, "Vidaa Muyarchi" is expected to be one of the main attractions of the Diwali 2024 lineup, much to the excitement of the fans.
