Alia Bhatt’s Action Film ‘Alpha’ Gets Release Date; YRF Unveils Fierce Teaser Poster

Yash Raj Films has officially announced the theatrical release date of its highly anticipated action entertainer “Alpha.” Headlined by Alia Bhatt, the film is set to hit theatres on July 10, 2026.

Marking the announcement, YRF along with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari shared a striking teaser poster that offers a glimpse of Alia’s intense new action avatar. In the poster, Alia appears bruised and battle-scarred, hinting at a brutal showdown and the high-octane action that the film promises.

“Alpha” pairs Alia Bhatt with rising Bollywood star Sharvari in what is described as a relentless action thriller. The film also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. The story is expected to showcase a fierce face-off where Alia and Sharvari take on Bobby Deol in a gripping confrontation.

Interestingly, “Alpha” marks Alia Bhatt’s first collaboration with Yash Raj Films. The movie is also being promoted as India’s first full-fledged female-led action film, with Alia and Sharvari performing intense action sequences rarely seen from female characters on the big screen.

The film is directed by Shiv Rawail, who previously helmed YRF’s critically acclaimed series “The Railway Men.” Aditya Chopra is producing the project under the Yash Raj Films banner.

With a powerful star cast and a strong action-driven narrative, “Alpha” is expected to be one of the major theatrical releases of 2026.
