Rs. 50 Crore Collection in 10 Days: Radikaa’s ‘Thai Kizhavi’ Achieves Himalayan Success at the Box Office!

Sivakarthikeyan has been making his mark not only as a leading actor in Tamil cinema but also as a producer of high-quality films. In that vein, ‘Thai Kizhavi’, a film produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and starring veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role, was released on February 27.

Since its opening day, the movie has become a favorite for families and has now reached a significant milestone in box office earnings.

As of today (March 9, 2026), marking 10 days since its release, the film crew has officially announced that the movie has crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark in global collections.

‘Thai Kizhavi’ has become the second Tamil film of 2026 to join the 50-crore club (the first being Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Parasakthi’).

Produced on a budget of approximately Rs. 10 crore, the film has already earned five times its cost, bringing massive profits to the producer.

Directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan, the film features a powerhouse performance by Radikaa that has deeply moved audiences. The story revolves around the emotional and humorous struggles of sons striving to care for their immobile mother.

The film’s success has been further bolstered by high praise from industry stalwarts, including directors Shankar and Atlee, and actress Jyothika.

Future Outlook: Trade experts predict that the film is likely to surpass the Rs. 75 crore mark in the coming days.
