The teaser of 'Acharya', which was released on Friday evening, has been on a rampage on the Internet. The glimpses of the Dharmasthali town set in the teaser have been highlighted by cinematographer Tirru and director Koratala Siva.
Tirru, who has previously worked on 'Janatha Garage', said, "When writing for a film, it's easy for renowned writers to write about the reality or to imagine a fantasy world. But to imagine a civilization and its culture, to reform the existing reality is an exceptional deed. All this in a mainstream commercial cinema."
He further said that Dharmasthali in the film is a place that embodies much more than this. "That’s what 'Acharya' stands for. Both as a film and also as a person. Hats off to the director for imagining a wonderful film," he adds.
Seconding his views, Koratala tweeted that Tirru's technical efficiency has taken his imagination to the next level. "Our vision multiplied with your grand visuals Tirru sir. Production Designer Suresh Selvarajan brought the grand town idea to life and you brought the world of #Dharmasthali to the eyes of the people!" the director wrote.
Starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in lead roles, the film will hit the screens on May 13.
