Nikesha Patel, who acted opposite Pawan Kalyan in ‘Komaram Puli’, has been incessantly trolled by sections of the Jana Sena chief’s fans for “insulting” the actor by using a cheap nickname (it is used by haters of PK on social media) while wishing him on his birthday. Actually, Nikesha didn’t do it intentionally. She wanted to use birthday hashtags while wishing the actor-turned-politician. In doing so, she unwittingly used the offensive hashtag, which was trending at that time. As soon as she put out the tweet, many started trolling her, going to the extent of accusing her of doing it on purpose.
“Wish media and Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fans would calm down. It was trending and without noticing a spelling mistake, I pressed. I have no intentions to hurt anyone. He has all my love and respect. And it’s idiots out there who create such trending hashtags and I get into trouble for it. I give up on social media. I am off social media for some time. Keep the negativity going and keep the trolling going while I am not listening,” Nikesha today said.
A media report had earlier suggested that Nikesha used the offensive hashtag deliberately.
