Aamir Khan supports Modi’s noble initiative

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has supported the appeal made by Narendra Modi against single-use plastic.  The government of India’s aim is to curb the use of the dangerous material in view of environmental degradation that it entails.

“The initiative by the Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi to curb single-use plastic is an effort all of us should strongly support. It’s up to each of us to make sure we stop using ‘single-use plastic’,” Aamir Khan, who was seen in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ last year, said.

With the aim of involving more and more celebs, Modi has thanked the actor.  ”Thank you, Aamir Khan, for the valuable support to the movement to eliminate the usage of single use plastic. Your encouraging words will inspire others to strengthen the movement as well,” he tweeted out.
