The #MeToo campaign is seeing a lot of women in the country coming out with allegations against the perpetrators. The latest being Bollywood’s Tanushree Dutta and singer Chinmayi. Meanwhile, Bollywood hotshot Aamir Khan has decided to walk out of a film as he came to know that one of the collaborators was pointed out earlier for molesting.
The film is ‘Mogul’ the story of Gulshan Kumar and Subash Kumar is the director who was accused of molesting a woman. “Aamir Khan Productions we have always had a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual misconduct and predatory behavior of any kind,” an official statement said. He also stated that women have been facing the brunt of sexual exploitation for a long time and should be stopped immediately thereby making the industry a safe place to work with.
This comes after several #MeToo allegations and if all industry celebs began doing this then maybe there is a chance that the issue will come down.
