‘You Avakay Me Ice Cream’ promo: Delicious rom-com in store!

Starring YouTube stars Sheetal Gauthaman and Udbhav Raghunandan as the lead pair, ‘You Avakay Me Ice Cream’ is touted to be the first-ever cooking-based Telugu-language web series. Written and directed by Bhargav Dasari, its promo is out.

Naga Babu plays the male lead’s rich, doting father. Udbhav’s character has returned from the US and his father has a million dreams for him. When the son says he wants to become a chef, the father’s reaction is on predictable lines. But can the male lead materialize the dream of bringing global cuisines to India? On the other hand, the heroine seems to believe that Indian cuisine is the best bet. Priyadarshi, the narrator, promises loads of comedy, dollops of romance, and large doses of drama as well.

Talking about their film, the makers say that ‘You Avakay Me Ice Cream’ is the story of two food-lovers with contrasting tastes. What happens when they come together to create a romantic and crazy fusion, is the most interesting aspect of the web series.

Also featuring Ramesh, Subbaraya Sharma, and Snigdha, its story is by SD Chada. Music is by Naveen Kumar, while GK Kakarla has cranked the camera. If the screenplay is by Shrija Reddy and Sreeram, the editing is by BSP Roy.

The release date of the web series is yet to be announced.
