The film is said to be directed by debutante Murugesh Boopathi and will tell the story of the unlikely love between the two entirely different hero and heroine. Meanwhile Lakshmi Menon, made her Tamil film debut with 'Kumki' and starred in super hit movies such as 'Sundarapandian', 'Pandyanadu', 'Jigarthanda', 'Komban', 'Rekka' and 'Vedalam'. She then took a long break from films to complete her higher studies and returned in 2020 the direct to television film 'Pulikkuthi Pandi' directed by Muthaiah and costarring Vikram Prabhu.
