Yash Promises a ‘Mind-Blowing’ Cinematic Experience with Toxic at Hyderabad Pre-Release Event

Rocking Star Yash’s highly anticipated film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles.

Produced jointly by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic was shot simultaneously in English and Kannada and will be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 26, 2026.

Ahead of the release, the makers hosted a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, attended by Yash, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, producer KVN, Dil Raju, music composer Ravi Basrur and other members of the team.

Yash Thanks Telugu Audience for Their Love

Speaking at the event, Yash expressed his gratitude to Telugu audiences for their immense support following KGF.

He said that after KGF, he had been completely immersed in work and had not even found the time to properly thank the Telugu audience. Yash praised the audience for proving that cinema can transcend language and geographical boundaries.

“Cinema has no boundaries. There is humanity, love and honesty beyond language and borders,” Yash said, emphasizing the importance of Indian cinema coming together to create a global identity.

Addressing the younger generation, Yash encouraged them to believe in themselves, remain committed to their goals and not be distracted by negative opinions.

‘Toxic’ Will Be a Path-Breaking Film

Yash stated that Toxic will offer a grand cinematic experience and that some of the best artists and technicians from across India have worked on the project.

He particularly praised music composer Ravi Basrur, who previously delivered the hugely popular soundtrack for the KGF franchise.

Yash also spoke highly of his co-stars, praising Huma Qureshi’s performance, Kiara Advani’s presence, Rukmini Vasanth’s work and Nayanthara’s character in the film.

Calling Toxic a “path-breaking” and “mind-blowing” movie, Yash promised Telugu audiences that the love and support they have given him would be returned through even bigger and better films.

He also conveyed his heartfelt birthday wishes to Megastar Chiranjeevi.

KVN Talks About the Film’s Grand Vision

Producer KVN said that Toxic was made with a huge vision, a bold dream and meticulous attention to detail.

He said the effort invested in the film can be seen in every frame of the trailer and expressed confidence that the movie would give audiences a memorable cinematic experience.

He also praised music composers Vishal Mishra and Ravi Basrur for their extraordinary work.

Dil Raju Praises Yash’s Pan-World Vision

Producer and distributor Dil Raju said that his association with Yash began during KGF and praised the actor for choosing a completely different path after the success of the franchise.

According to Dil Raju, instead of simply attempting another larger-than-life commercial film, Yash chose to back a new director and trust the strength of the story.

He lauded Yash’s vision of taking Indian cinema to the pan-world level and said that films made with strong vision and conviction can help Indian cinema reach a global audience.

Dil Raju also expressed confidence in the film’s visuals and revealed that composer Vishal Mishra believes Toxic has the potential to achieve massive box-office numbers.

Kiara Advani Thanks Telugu Audience

Kiara Advani recalled that her Telugu debut came with Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu and said she has received immense love from Telugu audiences ever since.

She added that every time she visits Hyderabad, she feels like she is coming home.

Describing Toxic as not merely a Telugu or Kannada film but an Indian film, Kiara thanked Yash and the entire team for giving her the opportunity to be part of the project.

Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth Praise Geetu Mohandas

Huma Qureshi thanked director Geetu Mohandas for making her part of such an ambitious project. She said working alongside Nayanthara and Rukmini Vasanth was a memorable experience and praised Geetu for crafting a film that she believes will stay with audiences for a long time.

Rukmini Vasanth also expressed her happiness about working with Yash and sharing screen space with Kiara Advani and Nayanthara. She urged audiences to watch the film in theatres and support the team.

Ravi Basrur Promises ‘Madness’ in Theatres

Music composer Ravi Basrur revealed that he dedicated seven continuous months to Toxic, putting in the same level of commitment he had shown for KGF.

He expressed confidence that the film would inspire audiences and promised that viewers would witness a different level of “madness” in theatres.

Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry also praised the international scale of the film and expressed confidence that Toxic would emerge as a sensational success.

With Yash leading a stellar cast, Geetu Mohandas at the helm and a technically ambitious team behind it, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is one of the most awaited Indian films of the year. The film is set to release worldwide on August 26, 2026, in multiple languages.
