Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has tied the knot with National Award winning director Aditya Dhar, who is famous for his 2009 Bollywood film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, in an intimate ceremony. The couple announced the news through their social media handles alongside a picture from the ceremony.

In the picture, Yami Gautam is clad in a gorgeous red wedding saree and is seated next to Aditya Dhar, who is wearing a creamy white sherwani. Sharing the same from both their Instagram handles, the couple captioned the post, "In your light, I learn to love- Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya."

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar have worked together in the latter's film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead. Several Bollywood actors, including Dia Mirza, Vaani Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Neha Dhupia, Bhumi Pednekar, Sobhita Dhulipala and Vikrant Massey, among others, congratulated the newlyweds.
