Writer Nandyala Ravi of ‘Orey Bujjiga’ fame is no more. He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad in the last week of April. After battling covid complications for several days, he succumbed to the virus this morning.
‘Power Play’, starring Raj Tarun, was his last film as a writer. In 2014, he made a debut as a director with ‘Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki’. After the film was received to a lukewarm response, he turned to writing all over again. Ravi was sought after for his creative inputs.
When his hospital bill ran into more than Rs 8 lakh, some people in the film industry helped out his family. Actor Saptagiri and producer Radhamohan gave Rs 1 lakh each to ease their pain.
IndiaGlitz condoles Ravi’s demise. May his family have the strength to overcome the loss!
