Woah! ‘HIT’ director Sailesh Kolanu imitates NTR

Dr Sailesh Kolanu has shared a video clip of his and it’s a treat if you are an old-timer.  The filmmaker of ‘HIT’ fame is seen imitating NT Rama Rao’s classy and insuperable monologue from ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’.  

“I practiced a lot of monologues by NTR garu to keep my Telugu polished while living abroad. ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’ is one of my favourite movies. This monologue questions the whole logic behind seeing Suyodhana as a baddie,” the director, who used to be an Assistant Professor before taking to films, said on Saturday.  

While he may well be a fan of the legendary NTR, Sailesh also admires Jr. NTR, whose performance in ‘Aravindha Sametha’ he lauded in a recent IndiaGlitz interview.  “That scene in the film where Tarak warns the other person on phone is my favourite.  He will be my first preference to work with among all actors,” the director told us.
