Owing to the chaos caused in Kamal Haasan’s election campaigns in relation to his comments about Hindu terrorism, his campaign in Sulur has not been allowed by the police.
Following the slipper throwing incident in Thiruparankundram and the throwing of eggs and stones in Aravakurichi, the police have refused permission for the campaign. Thus there are chances that it will be cancelled today.
Campaigns in the locations of Aravakurichi, Sulur, Ottapidaram and Thiruparankundram are expected to close today by 5 pm. Despite being unable to hold the last campaign, members of the Makkal Needhi Maiam believe that as their leader’s words have reached the people, their party will get many votes.
