When Brahmanandam’s son Rejected Sekhar Kammula’s Godavari

Godavari is one of the super hit films in Telugu. The film was released with the caption, Manchi Coffee lanti cinema. Sekhar Kammula is the director of the movie. Kamilini Mikherjee acted as the heroine. The film became a hit and it brought Sumanth a big name as he played the lead role.

Interestingly, Raja Gowtham, the son of Brahmanandam was approached to play the lead role of the movie. However, Brahmanandam revealed that Gowtham rejected the film, thinking that it is more of a female oriented one and do not have enough scope to perform. Later, the film has become a big hit at the box office.

Raja Gowtham and Brahmanandam are currently working together in the film, Brahma Anandam. During the teaser launch event, Brahmanandan made the revelation about Raja Gowtham’s rejection of Godavari. He also mentioned that Sekhar Kammula is the nephew of his wife. Brahmi added that many thought that Gowtham has attitude issue because of which he rejects stories.

Earlier, Raja Gowtham did a couple of interesting movies but he did not meet the box office success. Hope he will bounce back now with this upcoming film.
