Surprise! Vijay Sethupathi – Sun Pictures untitled movie release date fixed?

Vijay Sethupathi has had a good year so far with his ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’ and ‘Maamanithan’ receiving critical acclaim while ‘Kathu Vakula Rendu Kadhal’ and ‘Vikram’ turning out to be blockbuster hits.  Now there is a hot news that the Makkal Selvan is likely to have his fifth release of the year.

According to sources Sun Pictures has fixed December 2nd as the release date for their as yet untitled film ‘VJS 46’ directed by Ponram.  Filming began in March 2021 and was wrapped up in February this year.  The title will be revealed along with the release announcement soon.

‘VJS 46’ has Vijay Sethupathi and Anukreethy Vas as the lead pair while Pugazh and Shivani Narayanan are playing other important characters.  D. Imman is scoring the music while Dinesh Krishnan has handled the camera and Vivek Harshan the editing.  Vijay Sethupathi is said to be playing the role of a rural cop in the film.
