Only yesterday did two TV channel anchors poked fun at Suriya’s height earning flak from the actor’s fans and also stars from the film community. Actors like Vishal, Karunakaran, Vignesh Shivn and producer K.E.Gnanavel Raja have voiced their condemnation to the VJs. 

Now, VJ Manimegalai who works for the same channel has come out with a statement in her social page that is as good as condemning the insensitive remarks apart from expressing her feelings on the matter. 

Fittingly, the VJ has stated a dialogue from Suriya’s latest super hit ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ which roughly translates to it's not important how tall you are but how tall you can raise hinting at personal, proffesional success.
