The shooting of 'Sandakozhi 2' starring Vishal and directed by  N. Linguswamy began  today with a Pooja and will continue with a marathon schedule.  Vishal and Rajkiran reprise their roles from the original super hit released in 2005 which kick-started the Vishal's career as a action hero.

'Sandakozhi2' will have Keerthy Suresh pairing up with Vishal for the first time while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a powerful character.
