The teaser of Vishal starrer 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum' was released recently and got a good response from the fans and the audience. It is an action-thriller film directed by the newcomer Thu Pa Saravanan and produced by Vishal under the banner of Vishal Film Factory.

Earlier, the makers revealed the release date as Republic Day, January 26th in the official teaser but the latest buzz in the media circle is that Veeramae Vaagai Soodum's release might be preponed. SS Rajamouli's RRR, which was scheduled to release on January 7th, has been postponed.

While the Tollywood media is reporting that Prabhas' Radhe Shyam might get postponed, Ajith Kumar's Valimai is the only film confirmed for Pongal release as of now. So, it is now being speculated that Vishal's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum team is looking forward to release their movie on Pongal day. The official announcement will be made soon.

Veeramae Vaagai Soodum features Vishal, Dimple Hayathi in the lead roles and Yogi Babu, Baburaj in the important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the soundtrack and background score of the film while collaborating with actor Vishal for the eleventh time. Kavin Raj is cranking the camera while NB Srikanth takes care of editing.
