The main threat to Tamil cinema is the piracy of new movies which are available for free download on the internet which are released at the same time as the film causing huge losses to the industry. The problem has been plaguing the Kollywood for years together and to make matters worse the pirates even throw open challenges that they will upload new films at a given time.

Vishal a few weeks back promised on stage that he knows who the main pirate of Tamil cinema is and will hand him over to the law soon. The Nadigar Sangam Secretary and the TFPC President has kept his promise as the admin of the notorious Tamil gun pirate website has been arrested by the Triplicane police.

The accused is Gauri Shankar from Thirupathoor was arrested at the Chennai airport. Vishal is rushing to the police station. Watch this space for more details
