On the occasion of Tamil New Year, the makers of Thug Life unveiled a special video featuring Kamal Haasan — and with it, introduced a brand-new title for the legendary actor: Vinveli Nayagan (Commander of Space).
The video, released by Rajkamal Films International, is already creating a buzz online. In the clip, Kamal Haasan appears alongside Simbu’s “bad boys,” as a powerful voiceover proclaims the phrase “Vinveli Nayagan.” Fans believe this could become the next iconic title for Kamal, who has long been celebrated as “Ulaga Nayagan” (Universal Hero).
Thug Life marks a monumental reunion between Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam after 38 years, following their iconic 1987 film Nayagan. With the film’s shoot recently wrapped and post-production in progress, anticipation is high for its theatrical release on June 5.
