Thalapathy 64 actor to star in romantic movie next

Thalapathy 64 actor Antony Varghese, who is famous for his role in Angamaly Diaries, has signed up to play the lead in an untitled campus-based film, directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath. Touted as a romantic action drama, the film is expected to go on floors by February 2020.

“It’s a campus film that focuses on romance and has ‘mass’ elements. It’s different from the genres that Antony has done so far. He plays a college student. However, the story isn’t set in an urban college but in a Kottayam-based educational institution. The film is a full-on entertainer that also talks about the rivalry between two gangs and the problems that ensue,” the director reportedly mentioned regarding the movie.

Meanwhile, Antony Varghese is busy with the shoot of Vijay’s upcoming Thalapathy 64, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He will be playing a pivotal role in the movie, along with Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, and Shanthanu.
