Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the lead in many films this year. 'Puriyaadha Pudhir', 'Kavan', 'Vikram Vedha', 'Karuppan', '96' and untilted Thiyagarajan Kumararaja film.

Now the actor has signed yet another film in which he will be playing a parallel lead alongside Guatham Karthick in a adventure romantic comedy film to be directed by debutant Arumugakumar.

The yet to be titled film will have Vijay Sethupathi playing a tribal lead named as Yaman. But that does not mean that the film will have any mythological connection and the director assures that it will be an out and out comedy.

A newcomer will play the female lead while Justin Prabhakaran has been roped in for music score. The shooting of the film will begin in Chennai today (February 6, 2017).
