Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is having his hands full with multiple projects like Maamanithan directed by Seenu Ramasamy, Super Deluxe by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Vijay Chandar's next for Vijaya Productions, and another untitled flick by debutant Venkata Roganth Krishna, to name a few.

Now, it has been revealed that the most wanted actor has signed a new movie with critically acclaimed maker of movies like Iyarkai, E SP.Jananathan, marking their second collaboration after the 2015 flick Purampokku Engira Pothuvudamai, which also starred Arya and Shaam.

It has been reported that this project, which might be titled as Laabam, will have Shruti Haasan pairing with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time, and Jagapathi Babu as the antagonist. Arumuga Kumar of Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren fame will produce this project in his 7C Entertainment.
