Vijay Sethupathi can be described as the busiest star in the film industry on any given day as he is juggling the filming of several movies and web series in multiple languages. One of his upcoming projects in Bollywood is 'Merry Christmas', co-starring the gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif.

The shooting for this movie started on Christmas 2021 and is almost over now. Now, the latest reports suggest that the makers are planning to release 'Merry Christmas' on Christmas 2022. Directed by Andhadhun fame Sriram Raghavan, this much-awaited film is expected to hit the screens worldwide on December 23rd clashing with 'Cirkus' and 'Ganapath'.

Menawhile, some sources say that Merry Christmas may get pushed to avoid a clash with 'Cirkus' and 'Ganapath'. On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi also has a web series co-starring Varun Dhawan and directed by Raj & DK, 'Mumbaikar' (Maanagaram remake) in Hindi, 'Michael' co-starring Sundeep Kishan, 'Viduthalai' co-starring Soori and a silent film titled 'Gandhi Talks'.
