A wretched pervert has issued rape threats to frontline actor Vijay Sethupathi's school-going daughter on Twitter which has been shared widely shocking numb celebrities and common users.  The scumbag with account name Rithik Rajh even after condemnation from the likes of Chinmayi and other activists and journalists and tagged to Chennai Police has not pulled down his tweet and is continuing to post toxic messages.

The spine chilling threat has been made due to Vijay Sethupathi signing on to play the role of the biopic of legendary Sri Lankan offspinner Muttiah Muralidharan titled '800'.  After objections from the majority of Tamil cinema legends including Bharathiraja and Vijay Sethupathi's mentor Seenu Ramasamy, Murali himself wrote a statement requesting the actor to opt out of the project.  Vijay Sethupathi has since pulled out of the film but continues to get these kind of toxic threats on social media.

Earlier the same type of threat was made against M.S. Dhoni's child for his team the Chennai Super Kings poor show on the IPL 2020.  What is more disgusting is that these barbarians are trying to operate under the guise of Tamil activists.

Several celebrities including Chinmayi has demanded quick apprehension of the culprit and severe punishment to him so that he does not repeat this to any other girl child or woman.  We will have to wait and see what the authorities do about this and how swiftly at that.

Why does this crappy society do this? Watch silently when this happens? How are men raised to speak out a rape threat?
Why is it when adults fight like hyenas, the women and children have to suffer?
Shame on all of you who do it and those who watch and remain silent.
