Attack on Vijay Sethupathi – Details of what happened exactly and why

We broke the news first to you on the sudden attack on  Vijay Sethupathi by a mystery man at the Bengaluru airport.  The leaked video on the internet showed a bulky man charging towards the leading hero and jumping on him to attack before being subdued by the security personnel.  Fans of the star have been anxious to know what exactly happened and we have the info here.

According to sources from Bengaluru Vijay Sethupathi landed at the Bengaluru airport to shoot for the “Master Chef” show at a studio there.  A man who was apparently drunk was demanding a selfie which was refused due to his condition.   He is said to have forced his way towards the busy actor and also used abusive language which caused Vijay Sethupathi’s personal assistant to push him away.

It was then that the man made the attack from behind and it is said that before he could land on Vijay Sethupathi the personal assistant took the blows and the security men then rounded him up.   The attacker was handed over to the airport police.  The personal assistant had then declined to press charges and conveyed it to the police through a written statement saying that he would solve the issue with the attacker.  The person whose name is unknown then apparently apologized and also gave it in writing.
