After the success of 'Idharku Thaaney Assaipattai Balakumara', Vijay Sethupathi had a lull in his career with none of his films tasting commercial success though all his performances were top class and well appreciated.
The just released ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, directed by Vignesh Shivan with Nayanthara as heroine has already been declared a super hit and a happy Vijay Sethupathi has greenlighted a new project immediately. The as yet untitled film is going to be produced by ‘Orange Mittai’ co-producer Ganesh under the banner Common Man Presents and directed by Rathina Shiva Gnanam whose ‘Vaa Deal’ with Arun Vijay as hero, is awaiting release. The subject is said to have the right mix of comedy, love and action.
