Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Thalapathy 61' shooting has been progressing at a rapid pace. Director Atlee has completed three schedules in Chennai and one schedule in Rajasthan. From this week, the shooting will happen in Europe for one month and the crew will return to Chennai to star the next schedule on June 1.

We learn from a reliable source that 50% of the shooting has been completed so far. Regarding thew songs, the music director A.R.Rahman has composed 2 songs.

Meanwhile producer Murali Ramasamy of Thenandal Studios Limited has confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens on October 18th as a grand Diwali treat for Thalapathy fans.

The first look poster will be released on June 22, 2017 on account of Vijay's birthday and the music album will be released in August 2017.
