Victory Venkatesh’s Aadarsha Kutumbam has put up a decent show at the box office, wrapping up its first weekend with a worldwide gross of ₹50 crore. The Trivikram directorial started on a moderate note but managed to improve its collections over the next two days, with Sunday recording a better jump.
As per the reported box-office figures, the film collected ₹36 crore gross from the Indian market in its opening weekend. The overseas market added another ₹14 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹50 crore. North America has contributed significantly, with the film crossing $1.1 million in gross collections.
The encouraging aspect is the film’s day-to-day growth. After registering a slight improvement on Saturday, the collections picked up further on Sunday. This upward trend has given the film a reasonable cushion heading into its first working week. However, the real test begins on Monday, when the weekend audience rush gives way to regular weekday footfalls.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film features Venkatesh in the role of a family head, while Srinidhi Shetty plays his wife. Although the film carries the packaging of a family entertainer, its core storyline revolves around a crime drama.
One area that appears to have affected the film’s reach is its music. Thaman’s album has not generated the expected impact, and stronger musical promotions could have helped the film attract a larger audience.
Despite the mixed factors, ₹50 crore worldwide in the opening weekend gives Aadarsha Kutumbam a decent start. The Monday numbers and weekday hold will now determine whether Venkatesh’s film can turn this opening into a successful theatrical run.
