'World Famous Lover' actor Vijay Deverakonda's film with Puri Jagannadh has gone on the floors today in Mumbai.  The 'iSmart Shankar' director has joined hands with Bollywood producers Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta to bankroll this action entertainer that has been titled as 'Fighter'.

Importantly, this is a pan-India project that will be made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.  The 'Dear Comrade' actor is now officially debuting in Hindi.

"The action scenes in the movie will be top-notch.  Vijay Deverakonda has undergone rigorous training and was on a strict diet regimen to get into shape.  He went to Thailand to train in mixed martial arts for the role," the makers say.

Interestingly, senior actress Ramya Krishna is on board for a crucial role.  Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Aali and Getup Srinu are part of the cast.
