‘Visaranai’ release postponed

Director Vetrimaran's award winning film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on January 29, 2016. Dhanush who has produced the film along with Vetrimaran had confirmed this in his official social media page.

But now it seems the film's release has been pushed a week later that on February 5, 2016. Madhavan's 'Irudhi Sutru' and Sundar.C's multi-starrer 'Aranmanai 2' are releasing on January 29 and this seems to be an internal adjustment to ensure the availability of ideal number of theaters for all the three films.

Lyca Productions, which has acquired the theatrical release rights of the film has announced the release date of 'Visaranai' as February 5, 2016.

'Visaranai' stars Dinesh, Anandhi, Murugadoss, Samuthirakani and many others. The film's musical score has been rendered by G.V.Prakash, The film is based on a Tamil novel 'Lockup' written by Chandran, an auto driver.
