The big update that Suriya-Bala combo fans were waiting for is here officially

One of South India’s biggest stars Suriya debuted in the Mani Ratnam production ‘Nerukku Ner’ costarring Vijay.  However after six films of critically panned perfomances, his big break came after portraying the intense title role in ‘Nandha’.  Ace filmmaker Bala brought out the full potential of Suriya the actor and later polished it to finesse in ‘Pitha Magan’.

When ‘Vanangaan’ from the Suriya-Bala combo was announced several months back naturally the expectations skyrocketed instantly.  The first schedule of over a month was shot in Kanyakumari and the Indian ocean.  Later the production was stalled due to various creative issues and Suriya has moved on to ‘Suriya 42’ directed by Siruthai Siva.

Speculations arose in the media that ‘Vanangaan’ is dropped but Suriya’s 2D Entertainment which is producing the project clarified that it is very much on.  Now a further strong confirmation has come through G.V. Prakash Kumar the music director of the film.

GVP has revealed that the recording of all songs in ‘Vanangaan’ has commenced giving both Suriya and Bala fans a huge relief.  The film has popular young Tollywood actress Krithi Shetty as the female lead.  Sources say that Suriya will complete this film by the end of the year.
