Vamshi Paidipally zeroes in on Rashmika for superstar’s movie

Vamshi Paidipally’s film with Tamil superstar Vijay is waiting to hit the floors. The Telugu-Tamil bilingual is going to be an emotional roller-coaster with action blocks being a special feature.

The news is that Rashmika Mandanna is going to play the female lead. Sri Venkateswara Creations, owned by Dil Raju and Shirish, made the announcement today. It has been Rashmika’s long-time dream to work with Vijay, the Kollywood superstar. The project is special because it’s a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. So, Rashmika might have to allocate many dates, much like what she is expected to do for ‘Pushpa 2’.

This comes on top of Rashmika recently bagging her third Bollywood project: ‘Animal’.

Meanwhile, Vijay is busy waiting for the theatrical release of ‘Beast’, the action entertainer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Starring Pooja Hegde as the heroine, the film will hit the screens on April 13. With cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, ‘Beast’ has chartbuster-level music and supposedly riveting BGM by Anirudh Ravichander.
